Frequently Asked Questions

We’re not affiliated with OpenGrants.io.

Is OpenGrants Network free to use?

Yes. OpenGrants Network is 100% free. We never charge fees for eligibility checks, program matching, or guidance. There are no hidden costs, subscriptions, or administrative charges.

Does OpenGrants Network award grant money directly?

No. OpenGrants Network is a free guidance and matching directory, not a grant-issuing agency or government body. We research available assistance programs, match them to your situation, and direct you to the official provider to apply.

How do I apply for a grant found on OpenGrants Network?

After reviewing your matching request, we send you a list of verified programs with direct links to official government or NGO application portals. You submit your application directly on the official organization’s website.

What personal information do you collect?

We only collect basic details necessary to find matching programs: your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, age range, country, and general assistance needs. We never ask for sensitive financial details or government ID numbers.

How long do you keep my personal information?

All user-submitted matching data is automatically and permanently purged from our database 14 days after submission. We do not retain long-term user profiles, and we never sell, share, or rent data to third parties.

Are there advertisements on OpenGrants Network?

No. OpenGrants Network is entirely ad-free to ensure a clean, distraction-free experience focused on verified support resources.

Are grant approvals guaranteed?

No. Grant eligibility and funding decisions are made solely by the official government agencies, charities, or foundations operating each program. OpenGrants Network cannot guarantee eligibility or approval for any third-party program.

What should I do if someone asks for money to help me get a grant?

OpenGrants Network and official government grant programs will never ask for payment to receive aid or guidance. If someone demands money, gift cards, or bank details, stop communicating with them immediately and report the activity to us.
